Testing non-perl apps with TAP

Large applications are not always written using just one language, but may use domain-specific languages as required, be they compiled or interpreted.

Testing code mode of such a patchwork of languages could be difficult, and reconciling the success or failure of these even more so.

But with careful planning and the use of a few tools, we can unify testing via TAP, the Test Automation Protocol, resulting in a single point for collecting and reporting test case execution.
